• Identify potential acquisition targets and assess their strategic fit, financial viability, and cultural alignment with the organization.
• Drive post-acquisition integration efforts, including organizational alignment, process optimization, and cultural integration.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisitions, encompassing financial, legal, operational, regulatory, and cultural aspects.

• Lead the development and execution of the mergers and acquisitions strategy, fostering community engagement and partnership within the veterinary industry.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, industry dynamics, and community engagement to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and successful execution of M&A initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts, brokers, and other relevant parties to source potential deals.
• Negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and manage the overall acquisition process from start to finish.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding potential M&A opportunities and their impact on the overall business strategy.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of acquired businesses, track key performance indicators, and foster collaboration with stakeholders to drive value creation initiatives aimed at maximizing returns on investment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully executing mergers and acquisitions within the veterinary industry or related sectors.
• Extensive experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and deal structuring.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to mergers and acquisitions.
