Job Title: Director of Operation Home & Healing (OHH)
Reports to: Senior Director of Clinical Program
Location: University City, Hybrid
Compensation :
- Part-Time Opportunity: $38-42/hr. for 16 hrs./wk.
OR
- Full-Time Opportunity: Clinician already holding caseload of approx. 12 hrs. /wk.

Organization Overview:
Council for Relationships (CFR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening interpersonal connections through accessible, specialized, and expert individual, relationship, and family therapy, clinical training, and research. We provide in-person and online therapy at eight offices and community-based locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our approach to counseling is rooted in the Systemic Model, focusing on the crucial relationships in our clients' lives.
Mission :
To ensure that CFR services for veterans, military service people, and their families are of the highest quality while leading the development and growth of the Operation Home & Healing (OHH) program through innovation, partnership, and outreach.
Responsibilities:
1. Program Development and Leadership:
- Lead the development and growth of the OHH program by staying updated on best practices, innovations, and research in service delivery to veterans and military families.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with veteran-serving organizations to expand program reach and impact.
2. Outreach and Partnership Building:
- Conduct outreach activities to raise awareness of OHH services and establish partnerships with relevant organizations.
- Represent CFR at events like the Philadelphia Veteran's Parade and other community gatherings to increase awareness of our services.
3. Headstrong (HS) Partnership Oversight:
-Manage the partnership with Headstrong (HS), including overseeing clinicians providing HS services, managing referrals, and ensuring smooth operations.
-Evaluate provider capacity and recruit as needed, participating in HS meetings and liaising with HS staff.
4. OHH Subsidy Program Management:
- Oversee the OHH subsidy program, managing clinicians, evaluating provider capacity, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage invoicing, tracking sessions, assessments, grant funding, and reporting to funders.
5. Marketing and Communications:
-Collaborate with the internal communications department to maintain the OHH webpage and refresh marketing materials.
-Provide marketing and community outreach support for the OHH program.
6. Training and Education:
- Train clinicians and students in military culture, offering courses and independent study options.
- Participate in Leadership Team Meetings, All Staff Meetings, and other agency-wide meetings.
7. Budget Management:
- Develop department and funder budgets in partnership with the CFO, managing expenditures within allocated levels.
Clinical Component Overview:
Part-time therapists at CFR are W-2, fee-for-service employees. This role is exempt. They provide exceptional clinical care, complete documentation, engage in caseload-building, and adhere to professional standards. Therapists report to their Office Director and the Director of Clinical Operations.
Qualifications :
- Master's Degree or above in Couples & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related n field.
- At least 5 years' experience in a human service agency, preferably serving veterans/military individuals and families.
- Experience in direct service, program planning, administration, and collaboration.
- Training in understanding military culture preferred.
