Applicants should be dependable, and meticulous, have coaching and mentoring skills, be organized, and detailed, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Duties:
Inspecting: The Site inspector is responsible for inspecting the following but not limited to medication logs, overall cleanliness, documentation, adequate staffing, food inventory, and interactions between direct care staff and consumers.
Coaching/Mentoring: Site inspectors will provide on-the-spot coaching and mentoring for staff regarding interactions with consumers, guardians, and visitors. Site inspectors will also coach staff on proper medication administration, and proper completion of necessary documentation.
Reporting: Site inspectors are responsible for completing a site inspection report form after every inspection. Site inspectors will contact the supervisor in the event of an emergency at a site. Site inspectors will compile inspection data to present in monthly meetings to the administration team.
