Job Description

The Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the Global Director of Oil & Gas and Sales Manager for MEC in the following areas: logistics coordination, operations management, inventory management, vendor and customer relations and order quality control.

This position will work out of our Houma, Louisiana Warehouse.

Logistics Coordination:

• Schedule and coordinate all necessary transportation methods including barges and truck deliveries.
• Communicate with ICL Customer Service Representatives to manage the rail fleet for CBF /MEC.
• Liaise with storage facilities to arrange bulk deliveries and pickups.

Operations Management:

• Oversee all logistical operations for CBF/MEC, ensuring efficient management of trucks rail and barge transport.
• Supervise personnel at Houma Warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee the overall management of the warehouse.

Inventory Management:

• Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demands.
• Place orders for inventory from abroad and ensure timely and accurate shipment.
• Conduct annual consignment audits for customers.

Vendor and Customer Relations:

• Manage relationships with key vendors and approve vendor purchase orders.
• Coordinate with St. Louis Customer Service representatives to manage material movements and resolve any issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and quality services.
• Manage sales & relationship for two US Land CBF Customers

Quality Control

• Manage the bagging and packaging process with vendors to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure all orders are followed up on and shipped and accurately on time.
• Additional Duties:
• Perform other duties as required to support the business operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

• College Degree required
• Previous experience in small warehouse management and logistics with a strong sales aptitude.
• Strong mathematical and computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The position requires an energetic individual, capable of multitasking and managing routine work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Salary Range:$76,000 - $105,000

Annual Bonus Target:7%, subject to plan provisions.
