Baer is looking for JD Edwards Testing Lead for a 6 month Remote project.
Title: JD Edwards Testing Lead
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the testing efforts for JD Edwards projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Participate actively in testing velocity and scrum processes to ensure efficient progress.
• Share comprehensive reports on JD Edwards scrums and provide detailed JD Edwards status reports to clients and project leadership.
• Perform hands-on testing and development activities, dedicating approximately 50% of the time to these tasks.
• Guide the testing team through the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and leadership, providing regular updates on project status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall project goals.
• Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify and resolve any issues or defects discovered during the testing process.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience with JD Edwards, including hands-on testing and development.
• Proven track record of leading and managing testing projects, preferably in a JD Edwards environment.
• Strong understanding of testing velocity, scrum methodologies, and agile practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
