BREAKDOWN OF DUTIES
- Oversee the lease and management services accounting team, provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure a timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial close, accounting and reporting activities.
- Perform technical accounting research on complex accounting issues, monitor prospective accounting changes, evaluate impact, and ensure proper adoption.
- Review lease and management services and other key contracts to ensure proper accounting recognition.
- Support the consolidation and reporting process, including the identification and implementation of efficiency opportunities, as well as guiding the enhancements, upgrades and transformation of systems and related financial reporting and business processes.
- Provide effective leadership and support to the accounting team
- Proactively drive and implement key financial reporting and business initiatives as part of process transformation and continuous improvement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Mastery of GAAP accounting
- Experience with advanced ERP accounting software,
- Strong analytical skills, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail required.
- High degree of initiative and flexibility required to successfully accommodate deadlines
- Ability to maintain data integrity and accuracy and use data to identify and solve problems.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Master’s degree/MBA and CPA highly preferred
- 10 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with increasing responsibilities, including managing and developing people and teams
- Expertise and technical acumen in technical accounting (e.g., US GAAP) and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial software and systems with an ability to learn a variety of systems and applications such as EPM and ERP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
