Job Summary:

As the Chief Credit Officer (CCO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Servbank credit strategy while ensuring sound risk management practices. You will lead a team of credit professionals and work closely with senior management to assess and manage credit risk across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Strategy Development: Develop and implement credit strategies aligned with the company's goals and risk appetite.

Credit Policy Oversight: Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit risk exposure across various portfolios, products, and markets.

Underwriting Standards: Establish and maintain underwriting standards to ensure prudent lending decisions.

Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze credit portfolios to identify emerging risks and opportunities for optimization.

Credit Approval Process: Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring timely and thorough credit analysis and decision-making.

Credit Monitoring and Reporting: Implement robust credit monitoring mechanisms and reporting systems to track portfolio performance and compliance with credit policies.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to credit risk management.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the credit risk management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and risk management functions, to address credit risk-related issues and drive strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

· Extensive experience 10 years in credit risk management within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making.

· Strong understanding of credit risk principles, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing credit strategies and policies.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex credit situations and make informed decisions.

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

· Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus.
