As the Clinic Supervisor , you will:
  • Organize and manage day-to-day operations and program activities with finesse and precision.
  • Ensure financial sustainability and effectiveness in line with the Integrated Clinical Services vision and strategic plan.
  • Provide financial and supervisory expertise to guarantee high-quality, affordable, and efficient care for all patients.
  • Supervise and inspire an engaged, diverse workforce, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
  • Oversee access, efficiency, productivity, service experience, scheduling, billing, policy adherence, and quality evaluation and improvement.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, recognizing their pivotal role in our success and community impact.
  • Collaborate with Clinic Management and Primary Care Leadership to oversee Health Center operations, policies, resource allocation, and compliance, showcasing adaptability and leadership skills to achieve organizational goals and promote collaboration.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, business acumen, and emotional intelligence in directing Health Center activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering collaboration across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and growth of staff, cultivating a culture of high performance, diversity, and inclusion; provide daily coaching and supervision to ensure adherence to standards and resolve conflicts.
  • Collaborate with HR on licensing, certifications, and performance matters, proactively addressing staff issues to uphold morale and satisfaction while fostering a supportive clinic environment.

TO QUALIFY:

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field. (In lieu of a degree, we will consider relevant education and experience)
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with a strong understanding of financial management, supervision, and quality improvement.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications/ Transferable Skills*: You do not need to have the following preferred qualifications/ transferable skills to qualify. However, keep in mind we may consider some or all of the following when identifying the most qualified candidates. Please clearly explain on your application how you meet any of the following preferred qualifications/transferable skills.
  • Experience in an FQHC Environment
  • Experience leading and supervising teams
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records processes

Inclement Weather and Disasters - Serving the Public, Even During Disasters:
Everyday, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather, natural disaster, or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses, while typically there begins with a call for volunteers, county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
