Experienced-level role responsible for day-to-day underwriting and high level agency management support of agents within defined territory. Underwriting authority is limited to commercial surety products. You will report to a Manager, Bonds Sales and Service.

$60,000.00 - $99,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

• Responsible for day-to-day underwriting and high-level agency management support of agents within defined territory.
• Work as part of an overall team to support the achievement of annual business plan for assigned key agencies and maintain and nurture existing agency relationships to ensure a strong, growing, profitable partnership and achieve expected premium production.
• Meet and maintain service level commitment to both internal and external customers.
• Analyze financial information, credit reports, contracts, statutes, bond forms, etc. and applies the appropriate use of individual discretionary underwriting authority, while adhering to company and department mandated underwriting guidelines and submission processes, to drive profitable bond growth.
• Train and provide on-going support to agents.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience underwriting bonds.
• Solid knowledge of bond form language.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing credit and financial information.

• You will travel up to 10% in this position.
• Prior surety bond experience preferred (1 years)

On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
