Job Title: Product Data Coordinator

Department: Engineering

Classification: Exempt

Summary: A Product Data Coordinator for Engineering provides ongoing, foundational support to the engineering team members by performing data lookups, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support customer orders. This individual must be highly organized, be able to manage multiple requests with tight timelines, and have excellent communication skills. This person will be directly supporting several engineers throughout the product development cycle and interact directly with customers.

Responsibilities: As the Product Data Coordinator you will:

• Review customer specifications with Sales and Engineering
• Utilize Excel to lookup part numbers
• Fill out Excel sheets with part number for Bill of Materials
• Provide verbal and written updates to Sales, Engineering, and Customers in a professional manner
• Interact with customers daily to understand their request and new projects
• Learn to understand drawings/designs and assembly of products
• Set up parts and enter data into the company MRP system
• Write technical product manuals and compile order packages for our customers
• Facilitate recurring customer meetings including meeting prep, recap, and action follow-up
• Maintain library of Engineering drawings
• Perform Compliance Reviews to ensure product meets customer standards
• Maintain and update data in product configurator
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Generally support Engineering needs to develop new products
• Potential for 10-15% travel

Requirements

You’re a great fit for this position if this describes you:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to read Engineering drawings a plus.
• Able to compile information for reports and decision making.
• Proficient in current computer software: MS Applications; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and an understanding of MRP or ERP system; Syteline (Infor) experience a plus.
• Excellent written communications skills, including the use of proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar to produce error-free copy, particularly composing letters, reports and documents used for decision making.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills including tact and diplomacy which would be utilized during customer service, conflict management, development of relationships with internal and external contact. 
• Able to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, under pressure with time constrains while responding and adapting to change favorably and quickly.
