Team Recovery Ohio, LLC , the fastest growing organization providing treatment for substance use and mental health disorders in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS)! Qualified applicants must be motivated, compassionate and energetic, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve potential issues.
Position Summary:The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) is responsible for providing milieu management as well as providing valuable support, mentorship, and advocacy to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders or mental health challenges. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, assisting clients in developing and sustaining their recovery goals, and promoting overall wellness and community integration. The CPRS will help clients increase their knowledge and skills through developing peer relationships that support and promote recovery, resiliency and wellness
The CPRS will work alongside the Clinical treatment team to ensure life skills improvement and long-term sobriety for clients with behavioral health and substance use disorder diagnoses.
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) position requires experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. This position will require driving company vehicle(s), including multi-passenger vans to transport clients and providing services at the treatment center and in the community (recovery housing).
