Your New Role

The Coordinator, Business Development will report to the Manager of Business Development and is responsible for supporting the Business Development team across a variety of revenue based initiatives.

This position will work with both internal and external stakeholders to grow existing revenue lines, while also evaluating opportunities for new business.

Key responsibilities include executing sponsored campaigns, running performance analyses, and implementing strategic recommendations for affiliate partners.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Support the Manager of Business Development with coordinating, launching, and reporting on Sponsored Content Campaigns
• Assist the Affiliate Partnerships lead for CNN Underscored by implementing new growth strategies for Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners
• Research industry trends and conduct competitive analyses to better understand the commerce and affiliate marketing landscape which will aid in launching new business opportunities
• Lend additional support to the business development team across a variety of initiatives including content distribution, video, social commerce, and affiliate optimization
• Help activate new technology partners within commerce-related content that have been contracted with by the Business Development team

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field Required
• Competency in Microsoft’s suite of tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Required
• Experience with monetizing digital properties and growing revenue
• Candidates should be self-starters with an ability to multitask and adapt to rapidly changing business condition
• The ideal candidate is is proactive, comfortable in an externally facing role, and can action on direction given from business team leads
