Advance Fleet Services is looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Pay: $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Job Responsibilities:

As a diesel technician, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles class 3 - 8.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with computer programs.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components found on diagnoses or inspection of the vehicle.
- Weld and solder as needed for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- 5 Years of Diesel Mechanic experience Preferred
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to Provide own tools and box
- Work Effectively and Safely
- Skills in PM, Air Systems, Electrical Diagnostics and Repair, Wheel End, Coolant systems, AC Diagnostics and Repair and MORE.
- Keep accurate notes on repair orders to ensure quality
- Occasional roadside service
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications (preferred)

- internal engines
- EPA 608 -609 License
- Forklift qualified
- ASE certification
- Personal hand tools (required)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- CDL (Preferred but not required)
- Experience with the following programs: Cummins insite, tech tool, quick serve, jaltest, Bendix, Wabco, Haldex, Davie 4, Diamond logic, and Jpro.

The following training will be provided to qualified candidates:

Cummins ISX, ISB, and ISL
ASE certifications
DOT and OEM training
All applicable computer software training for all makes and models in North America
