The Regional EHS Manager is tasked with delivering strategic leadership and oversight for the company's EHS programs, encompassing DOT, Sustainability, Environmental, and Industrial Hygiene. This position ensures adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and policies while promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Craft and execute a thorough EHS strategy that meets company goals, adheres to industry standards, and complies with regulatory demands.
  2. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  3. Supervise the creation, execution, and continuous refinement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
  4. Set EHS performance indicators and lead initiatives to improve safety, health, and environmental outcomes.
  5. Lead the EHS team by managing recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  6. Work with cross-functional teams and senior management to embed EHS initiatives into daily business practices.
  7. Manage the development and implementation of EHS training programs to educate staff on topics like hazard identification, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  8. Ensure that training documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible.
  9. Oversee compliance with local, state, federal, and internal EHS regulations and policies.
  10. Handle relationships with regulatory bodies, including managing inspections, audits, and necessary reporting.
  11. Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and renewed on time.
  12. Supervise the process of incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis to determine corrective actions and prevent future occurrences.
  13. Analyze incident data to spot trends, identify improvement areas, and prioritize EHS initiatives.
  14. Conduct and implement comprehensive risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and corrective actions to reduce or eliminate risks.
  15. Perform regular workplace inspections and audits to detect potential hazards and ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
