- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual needs
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal comfort and functionality
- Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and other optical supplies
- Keep accurate records of customer prescriptions, orders, and payments
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmology, optical products, and vision care industry standards
- Familiarity with sales techniques and ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic) and managing medical records
- Understanding of aseptic technique for handling optical instruments and equipment
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures related to optical measurements
- Strong understanding of ocular anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for pricing and discounts
