We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Asher Crossing, one United Group’s professionally managed multi-family communities in Williamsville, NY.
This position will also assist at two other multi-family communities of Crescendo Lofts and The Dorian, also located in Williamsville, NY.

Major Tasks Key Responsibilities:
Assesses and prioritizes all maintenance work to be performed on assigned site
Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
Completes maintenance work orders as assigned
Ensures quality of work duties performed
Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of all problems and potential issues of concern
Maintains a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines
Paints, cleans, completes maintenance items, and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation
Cleans all common areas and responsible for trash removal
Performs necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings of the property assigned
Handles emergency situations that may arise and communicates all details of the incident to the Property Manager
Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment
General maintenance experience to include painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, plowing, etc.
Will be available for after hours on-call as necessary
Maintains a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
Job Overview Requirements:
Job Type: Maintenance Technician; $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (weekend on-call hours required as needed)
Training for Position: preventative maintenance, safety, and related
Physical Requirements: standing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, painting
Required Education: Applicable Work History
Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience in residential property or hotel maintenance
Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Ability to solve problems involving maintenance, safety, and challenging situations; Possesses strong customer service skills; Ability to interact with employees and residents in a professional manner.
