Leading provider of commercial garage door solutions seeking a skilled Lead Commercial Garage Door Installer to relocate to Des Moines, IA for an excellent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing and servicing commercial garage doors, along with a proven track record of leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of installers in the proper installation and maintenance of commercial garage doors.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of installation projects.
• Train and mentor junior installers to uphold quality standards and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring proper care and organization.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and job site protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience installing commercial garage doors.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Must be willing to work more than 40 hours a week, adapt to a daily schedule that working hours will vary, and be available for emergency service work on a rotational basis.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
