Job Title: Warehouse Lead
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Location: Glendale, WI
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Lead Coordinator will be accountable for the daily execution of warehouse operations, assisting with order fulfillment and delivery issues, loading of trucks, and scheduling deliveries. The right individual will support the company's vision and customer focus through managing system applications and efficiently multi-tasking production floor activities in a positive working environment. This rewarding and challenging position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Coordinating order fulfilment and delivery inquiries with sales, customer service, and warehouse operations teams.
  • Interact daily with customer service, fleet route drivers, and warehouse personnel to ensure effective completion of customer orders.
  • Generate delivery routes based on scheduled workload for fleet drivers to meet customer delivery needs, including other warehouse delivery functions.
  • Generating system application reports and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate shipment details, invoicing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts physical inventory of all commercial equipment inventories.
  • Establish and maintain order and organization in the warehouse and able to identify areas of continuous improvement.
  • Work with other departments to resolve problems and handle special requests.
  • Back up warehouse operations coordinator as needed.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety compliance on all procedures used in fulfilling the warehouse coordinator duties.
  • Ensures proper systems and standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Evaluates processes for continuous improvement and implements appropriate changes.
  • Must be adept at troubleshooting, problem solving and able to deploy appropriate solutions for customer service and sales needs.
  • Collaborates with Distribution Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams daily.
  • Support Supply warehouse and Boelter retail store functions of picking orders, putting stock away and working with customers.
  • Miscellaneous duties include backing up other manager tasks and various project-related functions.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data within our delivery and warehouse management systems.
  • This role will have the possibility of working across multiple Boelter locations based on company's needs. Potential for local travel up to 5-10%.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience required. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and communication direction in oral and written methods.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and efficiently complete daily tasks.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with operating all types of material handling equipment. Must be capable of becoming the trainer for all new associates.
  • Experience with Omnitracs or related routing platforms a plus.
  • Ability to solve problems with a high sense of urgency and customer focus.
  • Self motivated, well organized, and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with follow-through on commitments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, experience with SAP, WMS, RFID, and route systems in a warehouse environment a plus.
