Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern in Milwaukee, WI on a part-time basis (20 hours/week). This is a summer internship and is a fully in-person position.

As an intern on the Human Resources team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide range of human resource functions while working to advance our organization’s practices. This will be done by collaborating with the HR team to assist with compliance and administration as well as working on projects to enhance the department and the overall office. As your knowledge and experience expand you will have opportunities to assist with various functions within the department

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration across the HR team to meet project goals.
• Managing databases and personnel files, including organizing, both physical and electronic formats.
• Assist with job postings, candidate review, and onboarding of new employees.
• Updating job descriptions as required.
• Pulled basic HR reports for managers.
• Maintaining roster with current company information.
• Identify gaps, risks, and areas of opportunity for the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The applicant must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s, graduate-level, or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

• Availability to work 20 hours per week during the work week.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and maintain confidentiality related to critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Possess an ability to work independently and as a team.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to take on tasks and projects as needed.

Compensation Range:

• $15.00 per hour
