The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of trauma by reducing their risk factors and building their resiliency. We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
The Lead Clinical Therapist acts as the Lead Licensed Professional for clinical care, quality assurance, and program integrity. The primary tasks of the Lead Clinical Therapist are to monitor the day-to-day activities of the clients and clinical staff, enforce program policies, supervise training requirements, complete file review, manage quality assurance processes, provide clinical supervision, and assist the program leadership with funder and/or agency compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists program leadership with oversight of the day-to-day clinical operations of the program.
• Provides clinical supervision to clinical staff under their purview as appropriate.
• Leads regular treatment team meetings and prepares critical care issues for discussion during routine supervision meetings.
• Provides oversight and monitoring of staff training.
• Provides direct training to clinical staff as appropriate which includes trainings such as Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention, and other evidence-based best practices.
• Develops and maintains a caseload.
• Assists with outside community services and collaboration including, but not limited to, PREA services.
• Co-leads the Survivor Advocacy Council.
• Assists in coverage of other program areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Independently licensed to practice a mental health discipline under Kentucky laws (LCSW, LPCC-S, etc.)
