Responsibilities

• The Master Facility tech provides repair, service, and operational reliability of utilities and/or equipment required to meet the needs of the facility.
• Said skills shall be performed with independence and proficiency commensurate with the level expected of a seasoned technician as determined by his immediate supervisor.
• The Master Tech should also teach his lesser-experienced peers, demonstrate leadership and teamwork as well as fill in for his supervisor temporarily in his absence.

Qualifications

Job Requirements 

• Valid Texas Driver License
• High School Diploma or GED
• A Master Facility Tech shall have a minimum of three years of previous experience in related equipment and/or building maintenance.
• Licensure in a specialty field may be substituted for other experience at the discretion of the supervisor

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• In addition, a Master Tech should have 5 years’ experience at BSA or comparable in-house service.
