Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join ROI Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels on rooftops and ensuring the efficient operation of solar energy systems. All our solar install work is in Washington, DC and Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Solar Panel Installation: Install solar panels, racking systems, and other associated equipment on residential and commercial properties, following company guidelines and safety protocols.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that all components are securely installed, and systems are functioning optimally.
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment
• Ability to work in all environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs
• Work requires physical exertion, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Perform electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC).
• Work with a team to complete installations efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

• Experience in electrical and construction is strongly preferred but not a requirement.
• Understanding of commercial electrical systems is beneficial.
• Experience in solar installation or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment.
• Physical ability to work on rooftops and lift heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
