Raise has partnered with a client, an international leader in water and water filtration solutions that is looking to add a new Industrial Sales Representative to their Midland team right away. Having over 80 years of successful history of servicing their clients to provide water softeners, drinking water & water filtration solutions, their Midland's team of local water experts has been committed to providing the best service for residential, commercial and industrial businesses.
What you will be doing
As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will leverage your effective interpersonal skills to obtain new work, grow and foster long-term client relations with a focus on securing contracts across all company’s lines of business with new and existing clients.
To truly excel in this role, you can effectively leverage your effective communication, leadership abilities and project management experience to positively influence clients, maximize profit and drive results.
Practically speaking you will:
Promote a long-term relationship-building approach to Sales to improve customer satisfaction and retention with all customers
Develop and improve standard/best practices in the sales toolbox: presentation formatting, financial documentation, lead generation methods, cost modelling
Correspond with all leads and appointments as scheduled
Attend scheduled appointments as assigned with professionalism and integrity
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in relevant database
Learn, maintain and apply overall knowledge and technical information as it relates to the sales of all client’s products
Budgeting for labor and materials
Work with Applications Engineering Team to coordinate the requested order design
Work with Applications Engineering Team onsite for commissioning and installation
Liaison between the client and client international
Develop a manageable project timeline and ensure the details are communicated to the appropriate parties for execution and expectation
Understand customers’ needs and present viable solutions. Accurately represent capabilities, terms procedures without distorting dealership policy
Develop MSA’s for customers prior to contract execution
Review all compliance agreements prior to potential sale to ensure the client can comply with the agreement including safety protocols and/or programs and/or state or Federal regulations
Make an effective sales presentation so that the customer is adequately educated about the products, services, and the timeline available
Clearly and completely document installation arrangements, pumps and other related equipment, check electrical/drain
Take ownership of a new customer’s account, and follow up with every new customer to ensure complete satisfaction and secure referrals
Maintain security of all customer information
Participate in all promotional activities (trade shows, exhibits, etc.) as required
Obtain minimum sales standards
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
The Details
This is a full-time permanent position based in Midland, TX working 50% in the office and 50% remotely. Qualifications:
Demonstrated a proven record of accomplishment in outside sales within large industrial equipment areas
Proven project management experience combined with the ability to provide creative solutions to the customers
Experience in developing MSA’s for customers prior to contract execution
At least a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated Computer skills: Contract Management Systems, Human Resource Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain the following certificates, licenses and registrations: Sales license, Water License 1, State licenses as required
Self-starter with the ability to learn and ramp quickly, and highly determined to figure things out as you go
Hustle, persistence, and love for outbound sales
Highly motivated and target driven with a passion to work in a challenging environment
Successful track record of industrial sales experience and exceeding quota
No-fear attitude when it comes to cold calling and networking
Proven success with prospecting, developing leads, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals in medium-large industrial businesses
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and work effectively as a team and independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to be able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization including with Office Managers, Directors, and C-level executives
Strong business acumen and polished and professional sales presentation skills
