Prime Team Partners, Inc is Hiring a Project Manager Near Federal Way, WA

Product Development Project Manager, contract to hire

Location: Primarily based at our client's Federal Way, WA Tech Center with occasional work at the Seattle HQ office in Pioneer Square. Some travel to relevant mills associated with product development may be required.

Contract rate: $55-65/hr, DOE and relevant experience

Overview:

As a Product Development Project Manager, you'll be integral to the realization of innovative wood products. Your mission is to shepherd projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with our client's overarching business objectives. This position has the potential for conversion to Full-Time Employment (FTE).

Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

  • Ensure project objectives are in harmony with our client's overall business strategies.
  • Identify necessary deliverables for swift adoption, utilization, and proficiency among stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor deliverables, adjusting as needed to meet intended outcomes.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, identifying essential resources and partners for timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and legal.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and oversee progress.
  • Facilitate business requirements gathering, analysis, and issue resolution.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Offer strong leadership and guidance to project-specific team members.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across all teams involved in relevant projects.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience leading complex and diverse project teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Project Management.
  • Certifications: PMP or PMI.
  • Proficiency in project management tracking software (e.g., Aha! or SmartSheet).
  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in meeting facilitation.
