Senior Data Quality Engineer/Analyst

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven and motivated Senior Data Quality Engineer/Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in formulating Data Quality Frameworks, configuring and maintaining Data Quality platforms with solid end-end understanding of all facets of Data Quality, Availability, Observability and Reliability and understand associated concepts of Metadata/Knowledge Management and Data Lineage. Must be a hands-on self-starter with ability to think out-of-the-box to take new information and help formulate solutions appropriate for the client as part of an agile team that is looking at redefine and innovate with Data Quality. Familiarity working with functional areas to create Critical Data Elements and associated data quality rules, monitoring, including alerts and Issue Management. Responsibilities: A DQ SME as part of Data &Analytics Tech Center of Excellence to support functional teams in leveraging DQ tool for DQ controls. Implement DQ best practices keeping the organizational needs in mind.

• Understand existing Industry best practices for Data Quality but question and modify them for client and be willing to think out-of-box to drive innovation in Company Data Quality. Stay informed with the latest trends in the overall Data Quality landscape.
• Configure and administer Cloud-based Data Quality platform (DQLabs) for Data Quality.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, at various levels, to gather requirements for Data Quality
• Continuous automation and improvement mind-set with ability to think strategic and implement tactical and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Collaborate with Technical and Functional teams to integrate data quality into data landscape and resolve issues as part of an overall Issue management process.
• Partner with the Data Governance team in implementation of enterprise DQ rules, roles, permission and support the DQ operating model.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and customers with an agile business-driven mindset to build effective partnership across Company.
• Able to multi-task with capability to modify approach based on new information.
• Quick ability to learn the Company business process and the DQ opportunities.
• Work in an agile environment and be open to change based on changing priorities.
• Write SQL Queries to perform Data Analysis to support DQ issue Data resolution.
• Able to use MS Office to document lineage, Business & Technical Data Flows

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Quality Platform Engineer or similar role (e.g. Senior Technical Data Analyst, DQ Architect).
• Hands-on experience in SQL required (Snowflake experience highly preferred).
• Proficiency in configuring business quality rules using automation tools like DQLabs or other DQ solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the importance of Data Availability and Data Quality in organizational processes.
• Ability to interface, communicate and present to senior technology and business partners
