HunaTek is Hiring a HR Business Partner Near Herndon, VA

HunaTek is seeking an HR Business Partner to help lead the human resources function in our rapidly-growing organization. You will work directly with our Director of Human Resources to build HR excellence throughout the enterprise, establishing policy and coaching our managers in healthy, compliant practices. This role requires a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures
  • Manage and improve onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments.
  • Conduct and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, conflicts, and concerns.
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
Skills And Qualifications Required
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations (federal and local employment laws).
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize work in order to meet timelines.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Government contracting experience
