Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Monitor Technician to join our medical team. As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs. This is a critical role in ensuring the accurate assessment and timely intervention for patients in need of cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities: - Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor provides Monitor Technician/Unit Secretary support for the assigned unit.

· Continuously observes cardiac monitor readings, interpreting the readings and reporting results timely to the assigned Registered Nurse.

· Assists in maintaining cardiac monitor equipment, reporting malfunctions timely to the Nursing Supervisor and Biomedical Technician for repair.

· Transcribes physician orders from records with notation and signatures by the nursing staff. Assembles and thins medical records in the department. Maintains unit logs as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
