Our well-respected client has an exciting career opportunity to join their team as a Network Administrator. The Network Administrator's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, and video and wireless network services. You will design, build, implement and support network systems across the enterprise. You will have the opportunity to support the planning and implementation of all network services. In addition to your network infrastructure duties, you will be a primary support to the local data center operations- design, major implementations, migrations, new build-outs, optimization, UPSs and more.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and 2 years of experience or Associate Degree with 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Routers & Switches
• Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) and/or, other related technical certification are a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot network performance issues, analyze network traffic, leverage network security tools and components to improve security posture for global enterprise
• Effectively designs and deploys LANs, WANs, MANs and wireless networks; including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
• Configures networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for the fulfillment of business objectives and processes. Monitors network performance and troubleshoots problem areas as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance of data center equipment and devices
• Analyze data center environmental systems to identify any issues and initiate repairs as needed; heating and cooling systems, physical access controls, surveillance systems, etc.
• Effectively manages servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
• Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
• Practices network asset management; including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
• Monitors and tests network performance. Provides network performance statistics and reports.
• Participates in managing all network security solutions. Performs server and security audits, and system backups and recovery.

Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
