Uber Freight is Hiring an Associate Manager - Operations Finance Near Rogers, AR

About the Role

The Financial Review Manager Level I will perform strategic account audits and maintenance of the key Financial Operational Metrics. Will oversee all Audit Operations for regionally based accounts. Acts as the primary liaison between Operational teams and Audit teams. Applies root cause analysis and implements process improvement opportunities that support effective strategic review of Financial Discrepancy Queue to maintain Account and Carrier financial health.

This position will work Onsite at our Rogers Center of Excellence.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Manages team overseeing Financial Queues including $0ME’s, ME Not Delivered, Delegated to Operations (DTO), and ME Needs Paperwork for required resolution
  • Works in conjunction with Director of Operations to support Customer, COE and Regional FAP health.
  • Status reporting on Financial Queue, including action plan management per account for resolution on open items
  • Communicates with carrier, customer, operation team members to resolve ageing items
  • Provides oversight to ensure alignment with Accounts Payable Team for status on carrier payment ageing
  • Assumes dotted line reporting and support of specific customer operations teams
  • Ensure proactive root cause analysis and solutions of issues driving invoice discrepancy
  • Support customer’s strategic goals through project management techniques
  • Analyze Financial Metrics to undergo strategic account reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use KPI’s to measure performance to standardized work and support internal and external customer meetings

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-5 years transportation/logistics experience in Operations with AR/AP experience
  • Minimum 2 years People Management experience
  • Understanding of LTL contracts, tariffs

Preferred Qualifications

  • People Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and other applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or in a team environment, consulting with team/management as needed
  • Attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Drive to succeed
