Job Summary:
The Family Life Education Outreach Facilitator has a strong sense of empathy and compassion for youth and families in the community, with a focus on families in substance abuse treatment and recovery. As a per diem Outreach Facilitator, you will need to be flexible, participate in facilitator certification trainings and implement evidence-based education programs. The position requires strong group facilitation skills and an aptitude for leading resiliency workshops for adults and children who may have experienced trauma. Responsibilities include working closely with the program team to engage community partners, create implementation plans and facilitate programs. Must be available to work day-shift hours.

Duties:

• Attends team meetings, scheduled supervision sessions to program schedules.
• Facilitate evidence-based group and individual programs.
• Offers patient navigation and provider linkages when appropriate.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to education programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health or related experience
• Experience working with individuals who have been exposed to Opioid Abuse Disorders, Adverse Childhood Experiences or related trauma
• Strong group facilitation skills and an aptitude for leading resiliency workshops for adults and children

Job Type: Part-time
