Cornett, Lexington's largest ad agency, is looking for a web development intern to join the team part-time for the fall or spring semester. The ideal candidate knows HTML & CSS and has a desire to learn more through hands-on experience. They may be self-taught, completed a web development bootcamp or be an undergraduate student in a related field.
The selected candidate must be local to Kentucky and available to work in office several days per week or as requested.
What will you do?

• HTML & CSS Markup
• Building site enhancements via JavaScript
• Working with APIs
• Modifying existing code bases
• Update content on sites
• Performs cross-platform testing
• Maintain code in a version control platform such as GIT
• Other tasks as assigned by Digital Producer and Director of Interactive Strategy.
• Stay current on web dev-related trends
• Someone who is a quick learner and a self-starter will be successful in this role

What you should have:

• Experience with HTML & CSS required
• Experience with other programming languages (such as JavaScript, PHP, Phython, etc) a plus
• Experience in a content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus
• Good at figuring out challenges
