While there is a wide variety of AA positions at Oaklawn, most include:
- Provide primary administrative support to assigned supervisors.
- Demonstrate the ability to be an effective resource that assists in providing overall communication throughout the organization and its related businesses
- Utilize the most appropriate and effective mode(s) of communication
- Provide excellent customer service in a trauma informed manner
- Prepare and disseminate correspondence with accuracy using appropriate (written and verbal) business language
- Operate office equipment required for the position. i.e. (phone, fax, copier, computer and printer)
- Maintain files/materials in an organized orderly fashion
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely fashion
- Effectively communicate during emergency situations. i.e. (fire, and disaster drills)
- Prepares supply orders, as needed
- Prepare, maintain and distribute meeting minutes effectively and efficiently, as needed
- Provide phone answering services and accurately transferring as needed
Minimum Hiring Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible in availability including evening/holiday/weekend coverage, when needed.
- Prior office/administrative experience highly recommended.
