Broad River Animal Hospital is looking for a skilled, compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team. Schedule is flexible, however Wednesday availability is required for this position.

We are a privately owned, AAHA Accredited, 4 doctor practice in Norwalk CT. We are looking to add a skilled Veterinary Technician to our clinical support team. CVT or LVT credentialing is highly preferred, however training is available for the right candidate. Our doctors provide routine examinations, preventative care, a wide range of surgical procedures, and both routine and complicated dental care. We are also thrilled to have welcomed a part time board certified Internal Medicine doctor in 2024. We boast a great daytime schedule that prioritizes work/life balance. Our technicians are encouraged to practice at the top of their abilities and skill set.

Who YOU are:

A skilled and enthusiastic technician, looking to grow and learn in a collaborative team environment - you love helping your patients and are comfortable accurately performing skin and ear cytology, performing smooth and gentle venipuncture for blood draws and catheter placement, obtaining sterile urine samples via cystocentesis, getting that perfect diagnostic radiograph, surgery monitoring and more. You thrive as a "treatment" technician, where your primary focus will be on patient care, surgery and treatments.

MUST be available 8-5 on Wednesdays. Other days are negotiable, based on your availability and the hospital's needs
