Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Duties:
- Support A/P & A/R clerk positions with vendor & customer issues as needed.
- Help respond to customer billing questions & inquiries.
- Reconciliation of bank statements to G/L balances.
- Reconcile & analyze G/L balance sheet accounts.
- Sales & Inventory reporting / analysis.
- Creating & posting journal entries.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two year degree in Accounting is preferred
- Previous experience or internship in an accounting role is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
