As the Sr. Manager Business Development on our Custom Services business, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential partners and maintaining relationships with current partners to increase revenue and maximize the capacity of Bonterra Organic Estates’ production facilities. This role will be focused on increasing custom bottling and custom winery service-related business to meet volume and revenue targets.

This newly-created role not only demonstrates our commitment to growing this segment of our business operation, but affords you the unique opportunity to transition from a winery services or equipment provider to working in-house for a leading wine supplier. Bring your extensive list of current wine industry relationships and expand our end-to-end custom services including, but not limited to, grape and bulk wine sourcing and sales for all programs and price points―luxury to value-tier; custom crush, winemaking and storage; bottling services including capability of bottling 750ml and 1.5L formats and tax paid or non-tax paid; as well as expertise in wine packaging procurement.

Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. on an occasional basis; ability to push/pull up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis; Ability to constantly stand, walk, sit, and working at a computer; Requires hand/finger dexterity. Requires ability to reach outward and upward; bend/squat or kneel on an occasional basis. Requires frequent use of PPE equipment such as safety glass and hearing protection and occasional safety-toe footwear. Valid Driver’s License required.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Compensation
Compensation for this role includes a target base salary of $115,000 to $125,000, an annual incentive target that aligns with individual and company performance, and transportation-related benefits. Actual rates will vary and are based on a candidate’s relevant education, qualifications, experience, skillset, competencies, internal equity, location and alignment with market data. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) and any other benefits to eligible employees.

About Bonterra Organic Estates
Part of the Viña Concha y Toro family of wineries since 2011, our California winery operation includes Mendocino County winery, production and approximately 830 acres of vineyard locations. The company employs approximately 230 across the United States.
The corporate office is located at 12901 Old River Rd Hopland, CA 95449. Hopland is a small town of less than 800 people located at the start of the redwoods of Northern California. It is about a two-hour drive north of San Francisco along scenic U.S. Route 101.
