My client, a leader in plastics manufacturing, has a direct hire opportunity for an Account Manager/Inside Sales Specialist for their Hiawatha, IA location. This company is seeking a detail-oriented individual who can think outside the box to provide long-term solutions to key clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provides material and application assistance, determines customer needs, and recommends products and/or fabrication services.
• Calculates pricing for quotes, material yields, and labor to optimize profit margin.
• Confers and shares information about customers and order status with the sales team.
• Manages the order entry and flow process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Works with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales, and Market Managers on competitive, strategic pricing situations and market conditions, key and target account projects, and new products.
• Travels as required to customer sites, trade shows, sales training, and company-wide sales meetings.

To Be Successful, It’ll Help If You Have:

• Great communication skills - both written and verbal
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Customer Service experience in Manufacturing or a background in Industrial Sales preferred
• You manage your time well and can prioritize tasks and follow up appropriately
• Organization skills & attention to detail
