As our Interior Designer, you will play a critical role in supporting our team and ensuring the success of our projects.

Your role is to build a relationship with our clients, understand their vision and sense of style, and create confidence in their decisions. Attentively listening and observing allows you to create designs that reflect the client's goals. You will collaborate with the client and our salesman through in-home visits, design reviews, and presentations with prompt deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Prepare, coordinate, and lead design presentations

· Balance grand ideas and a realistic budget

  • 3D design through Chief Architect
  • Space planning, developing unique design concepts
  • Coordinate with sales to achieve agreed-upon goals and deadlines
  • Undertake design project from concept to completion
  • Provide floor plans and organize finish selections

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in interior design or a related field
  • 5 Years experience in Interior Design
  • Computer proficiency- Microsoft Office and Chief Architect
  • Ability to learn new programs as required

Skills/Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
  • Excellent portfolio of previous projects/designs
  • Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design
  • Presentation skills
  • Process driven with project management skills
  • Follow through to complete a project on time is a must

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Holland, MI 49424: Relocate before starting work (Required)
