ABOUT THE POSITION

The City of Redwood City invites you to apply for the position of Assistant City Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid legal background to play a key role in providing important services for our City and community. We are a relatively small office of five full-time lawyers, and strive for a collaborative working style that fosters harmonious relationships both within the office and among internal clients and members of the public.

A complete application is required, including written responses to the supplemental questionnaire. In addition, your application must include the following three (3) required materials:

2. Cover letter

3. Short writing sample (1-3 pages preferred) where you were the primary author that provided legal advice to a client or to a more senior attorney in order to advise a client.
