Position Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator plays a vital role in our organization, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. This position is responsible for assisting in the seamless execution of our weekly payroll processes and new hire paperwork. The Payroll Coordinator will handle data entry, time tracking, payroll distribution, and various administrative tasks related to payroll functions for TEiC and its sister companies.

Essential Responsibilities:

•Lead the accurate data entry of all personnel transactions into our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) using Costpoint.
•Coordinate with field administration to ensure timely submission of time entries and required paperwork.
•Import time data from our tracking system (TPTS) into the HRIS on a weekly basis.
•Review time entries and balance hours to ensure accuracy.
•Run multiple payroll processes weekly, from time importation to check distribution.
•Organize and distribute payroll checks to appropriate project contacts.
•Manage the payroll garnishment process.
•Coordinate the direct deposit funding process.
•Execute various weekly reports from the system and provide them to internal and external personnel.

•Ability to accurately execute a high volume of data entry on a daily basis.
•Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
•Capacity to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
•Prefer experience with high-volume payroll processes.
•Prefer experience with applications such as Deltek Costpoint, Expert Pay, Power BI, and SSRS reporting.
•Advanced Excel experience preferred.

Education & Experience:
•Education: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
•Experience: 2-5 years of payroll experience.
•Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with mandatory Excel experience.
