Job Title: CNC Operator Junior

Location: Avon Lake, Ohio; on-site

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CNC Operator Junior at our Avon Lake location. As a CNC Operator Junior, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Your role will involve setting up machinery, monitoring machine operations, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and work instructions.
• Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to control speed, feed, and other factors as needed.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machines preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
