Our top performing law firm is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team. The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee and guide all aspects of the Accounts Payable department, including leading the Accounts Payable Team. This role requires promoting and upholding the firm's values while continuously improving the accounts payable functions and interactions with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include fostering a positive team atmosphere, mentoring and coaching team members, and encouraging cross-departmental collaboration. The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure that processes and technologies are state-of-the-art and will manage communication and coordination within the team for optimal operations. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate payment of invoices, correct General Ledger coding, and adherence to policies for employee reimbursements and the firm's credit card program. The role involves providing guidance on complex disbursement arrangements and aligning departmental strategies and goals with firm management.
