Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) is Hiring a Community Support Specialist Near Saint Albans, VT

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative team member to join our Community Rehabilitation & Treatment (CRT) Team. As a Case Manager, you will provide essential support to adults with severe mental illness, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services across various community-based settings, focusing on supportive counseling, symptom management, daily living activities, social and interpersonal skills development, money management, and advocacy.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, work well within a team, and stay organized to manage caseloads effectively.
  • Experience in mental health case management is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation with the capacity to transport clients as needed.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an associate degree in human services or relevant experience will be considered.
