Electrical Technician

FKG Oil Company seeks an Electrical Technician to support our 85 Moto and MotoMart convenience stores across the Midwest at our headquarters in Belleville, Illinois.
Functions
- Troubleshoot, repair, and testing of electrical systems
- Utilize basic software operations and schematic diagrams
- Communicate via iPhone, iPad, and/or laptop
Requirements
- 5 years of electrical experience with extensive understanding of electrical systems for commercial buildings and equipment related to: lighting, motors, switches, equipment, minor electronics, electrical tools, and testers
- Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal, and concrete maintenance
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to read and understand schematics
- Possess an understanding of maintenance tools
- Ability to work amongst a team
- Must be able to walk, crawl, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions
This is a full-time hourly position requiring occasional overtime with standard hours of 6:00 am to 2:00 pm CST. All technicians are required to be on call one week every 8 weeks.
Consists of daily travel in company vehicle to store locations with an occasional, rare overnight stay.

Individual compensation packages are determined by multiple factors including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job factors.
