Job Description of a Manager In Training (MIT)

• Exemplify the elements of SVDP: Spirituality, Friendship and Service in all phases of work
• Maintain the profitability of the store
• Supervises the unloading and loading of the trucks from the warehouse and reports any discrepancies
• Supervises the storing/pricing of furniture and clothing in the store
• Maintains adequate inventory levels of clothing/furniture
• Trains, supervises, and develops store personnel as required
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for store operations, personnel, and community relations
• Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise

Education/ Experience

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Prior retail experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
