German American Society in Omaha, NE is looking for a Head Cook to join our team to prepare for groups of 25-300. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise assisting staff and volunteers
- Prepare established menu items and create new menu items
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Calculate the amount of food to be ordered and prepared, as well as supplies
- Track costs and inventory
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- ServSafe certified or will acquire within 60 days

Compensation based on skills and experience, up-to $24/hour. Commission after 90-day review.
