ROLE Process Engineering Technician (Thin-Film Process)

MAIN SKILLS Experience with Thin Film process, experience with device assembly, high precision process tools, Operation of metrology and analytical tools such as confocal and optical microscopy, experience with cleanroom and controlled environment protocols, Enter data into shop floor system /MES or excel log sheets
Job Details:
The Hardware engineering group is looking for a Process Engineering Technician who will support process engineering for loading samples to process tools, do manual assembly tasks, cleaning and preparing samples for various processes. The candidate will have a background in device fabrication and experience with test methods.
Responsibilities:
Load/unload process tools
Clean fixtures, tools being used in various processes
Perform manual assembly tasks
Ability to organize and execute complex, detailed test procedures with input from engineering
Maintain and troubleshoot measurement equipment
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
Communicate issues observed in samples, process, or documentation to lab leads, process leads
Willingness to work Alternative shifts (swing, weekend-day) is preferred
Required skills:
Hands-on experience in thin-film processes and/or back-end processes to support device assembly
Operation and maintenance of high precision process tools
Operation of metrology and analytical tools such as confocal and optical microscopy.
Experience in an R&D, pilot or small manufacturing team environment
Demonstration of experiment ownership and accurate results and data recording
Comfort with cleanroom and controlled environment protocols
Enter data into shop floor system /MES or excel log sheets as needed
Must be able to work independently as well with other team members
Able to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Experience with Mac OS X, Windows OS and other productivity tools
