Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages following company recipes and standards
- Operate coffee making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Assist customers in selecting beverages based on their preferences
- Take customer orders, handle payments, and manage transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage service
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
