Reporting to the Regional Product Sales Manager - US, the Product Sales Specialist interacts with Asset Management staff and outside customers in the day-to-day sales and pricing of reuse material.

The Product Sales Specialist will assist with the pricing of inbound RFQ’s and sales of outbound material to ensure SRS is receiving maximum value.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide sales and marketing of usable IT products through wholesale and eCommerce Channels.
  • Develop new sales channels and identifying markets to maximize revenue.
  • Coordinate inbound pricing for usable IT products.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound pricing for usable IT products with other SLS Global regions.
  • Determine data destruction methodologies and managing relationships with data destruction

vendors.

  • Identify and evaluate value added processes in order to increase revenue.
  • Develop sales training to educate the sales team on the service and work with marketing to create

sales and marketing content strategies.

Perform periodic review of existing product and services to ensure maximum value in the

marketplace.

  • May attend tradeshows to promote the various services.
  • Work with international outbound sales to maximize pricing.
  • Find new technology to increase the yield of material.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate personal responsibility for all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies,

procedures, and initiatives.

  • Support diversity and inclusion, positive employee relations, and teamwork.
  • Support measures designed to effectively manage costs and adherence to budgetary requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality requirements.
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and initiatives relevant to job.
  • Support training and performance management initiatives.

Key Relationships

Internal EU Product Sales Manager, EU Procurement Manager, WEEE and ITAD Process Managers, Leadership Team, Plant Management, HR, IT, Accounting, SHEC and Legal

External Data destruction vendors, clients, potential clients, and various wholesale equipment buyers

Experience / Qualification Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field, preferred
  • 10 years of experience in used IT product sales and testing
  • 15 years of experience in used IT product sales and testing, preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Accounting knowledge
  • Marketing analytical knowledge
  • Web design and social media knowledge

Working Conditions

  • Work is normally performed in a typical office work environment
  • Typical use of office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, etc.
  • Long periods of sitting, standing, walking, and telephone speaking and listening
  • Domestic and international travel
  • Must be able to take on new assignments as needed regardless of existing workload
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and related stresses in a timely manner
  • Must be able to handle personnel issues and situations as they arise in a professional manner
