Job Purpose:

Process provider forms, claims and adjustments for early childhood nutrition programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Process new and existing provider forms, claims payments and adjustments, including data entry, scanning, imaging, and ensuring accuracy.
2. Ensure databases are current and complete for all audit inquiries.
3. Process claims and related paperwork for reimbursement in compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.
4. Provide administrative support for department including maintaining and sorting documents, answering phones, incoming and outgoing mail, etc.
5. Provide excellent communication and customer service to providers, internal staff, vendors, and others by responding to questions and requests, including problem-solving, and/or training on departmental processes and procedures.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Three years related or similar office experience
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
4. Aptitude for learning new software applications
5. Ability to work with diverse individuals
6. Strong technical and mathematical skills
7. Proficiency with office equipment including fax machine, copier, scanner, computer, etc.
8. Highly attentive to details; demonstrates excellent organization and time management skills
9. Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
10. Strong oral and written communication skills
11. Requires minimal supervision to complete job responsibilities
12. Shows initiative in taking on new tasks and meeting departmental goals
13. Unflappable, resilient, and positive
14. Knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food Programs a plus.
