$25,000 Bonus; $4,167 paid out monthly for 6 months after 30 days of employment. Position SummaryThe staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who performs patient assessment, develops, implements and evaluates effectiveness of an interdisciplinary plan of care for patient populations with various diagnoses. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution.
Major Position ResponsibilitiesThe position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. They should not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements of the position. The characteristics of the position and standards of performance may be changed by TCMC with or without prior notice based on the needs of the organization.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.

Qualifications
  • Qualifications RN/Transitional Experience
    • One (1) year of Registered Nurse experience, preferred.
    • One (1) year of ICU experience, preferred.
Licenses
  • Current California RN License, required.
Certifications
  • Current BLS required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
  • ACLS within 90 days or by end of orientation, whichever comes first, required; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
  • NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire, required.
Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
  • Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
